The new range blends clever design cues, fine craftsmanship and precision manufacturing.

Porsche Design and Bric’s are launching the first bags and luggage collection stemming from the partnership announced by both companies earlier this year.

As reported, Italian luggage and leathergoods firm Bric’s announced it had struck a long-term partnership with Porsche Design to offer customers a new line of merchandise.

The Porsche Design bags and luggage collection, which feature a selection of hard- and soft-case luggage, bags, backpacks, and small leather goods, will be available at the end of 2020 worldwide in Porsche Design Stores and Bric’s Stores, online at Porschedesign.com and at www.brics.it.

The new range features the Roadster Hard Case (pictured right), Roadster Leather Collection, Roadster Nylon Collection, Small Leather Goods (Classic Collection and Business Collection) and Carbon Collection.

FORM AND FUNCTION

Bags and Backpacks receive additional elements oriented towards comfort and functionality.

In a joint statement issued earlier this year, both brands point to the tie-up as unifying their ‘rich histories’ and fusing ‘design, function and craftsmanship’ to produce a collection exhibiting ‘timeless elegance, innovation and tradition’.

“With Bric’s we have a partner who brings a rich heritage, a lot of passion, and many years of experience in the manufacturing sector of fine leather and travel goods into this collaboration,” said Jan Becker, CEO Porsche Design Group.

“This expertise will further elevate and expand our well-known bags and luggage collection, helping us to take the category to the next level. We are looking forward to kicking off this partnership and introducing the new Porsche Design bags & luggage collection in Autumn/Winter 2020.”

Roberto Briccola, President of Bric’s added: “We are enthusiastic about the alliance with Porsche Design: a synergy that arises from the value of the two brands, and from the functional design philosophy of Porsche Design which identifies itself with the genius of Ferdinand Alexander Porsche.

“Our production has always been characterised by constant development, where innovation and tradition, functionality, and elegance are intertwined, and balanced with skilled craft, advanced technology, interpretation of new trends, attention to market demand and customers’ needs.”
