Porsche Design Ultimate Supreme Series makes travel retail debut

By Charlotte Turner |

 – TRBusinessPorsche Design is paying homage to two of its top-selling sunglasses models with a new capsule collection, available to global travel retail.

The limited Ultimate Supreme Series, comprise the P’8926 & P’8927 sunglasses, which both reinterpret a squared aviator shape for a slightly flatter and wider appearance.

“The filigree design is given a very modern oversize look thanks to the minimalistic stainless-steel frame and almost straight base-2-lenses, making the two sunglasses real statement pieces,” said the lifestyle brand.

‘PRECISE AND FUNCTIONAL WORKMANSHIP’

“Particularly light temples made of high-performance material RXP emphasise the modern and exclusive character and offer unique wearing comfort thanks to extremely precise and functional workmanship.”

In delivering the Ultimate Supreme Series, Porsche Design said it has successfully continued the vision of Professor Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, following his clear design philosophy to ‘optimise function, uncompromisingly reduce form down to the essentials, and continually discover new and exceptional solutions’.

In this way, the lifestyle brand said it succeeds ‘time and again in uniting purist design with functionality, perfection, and precision’.
