Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail (PR GTR) has toasted a successful TFWA World Exhibition having collected a volley of awards wins, including three at the consumer-voted Global Travel Retail Awards.
As revealed, the winners and highly recommended were crowned on a glittering evening at Hôtel Martinez on Tuesday 3 October.
PR GTR took home winners’ trophies for ‘Best Spirits Product (over €40)’ for Chivas Regal 18 Year Old Grand Cru Margaux Wine Cask Finish and ‘Best Cruise & Supplier Promotion’ for Norwegian Cruise Line Private Island.
The company was also credited with highly recommended in the ‘Best Retailer & Supplier Promotion’ category for Lotte Duty Free Changi Airport Pop-Up Boutiques.
Welcome for new GTR Chairman & CEO
It hosted a panel discussion for trade media entitled, ‘Finding the right blend of science & creativity: How behavioural science is shaping premium retail experiences’, and shared convivial moments with its partners and customers at the ‘Jameson Jamboree’ Cocktail Hours, hosted daily from 5-6pm.
On Tuesday 3 October, its annual customer party adopted a luxurious floral motif to celebrate the global launch of the new limited edition Royal Salute 21 Year Old Richard Quinn Edition II.
Having partnered for the second year with British fashion star and long-standing brand collaborator Richard Quinn, the new limited edition bottle couples creativity in fashion and expert luxury Scotch whisky blending.
In a ‘new chapter’ for the business, PR GTR also took the opportunity to formally introduce new PR GTR Chairman & CEO Laurent Pillet, as Mohit Lal retires.
