Sing-Coronavirus-TFWA

The TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition and Conference represents a chance for delegates to discuss how the industry will rebound from a challenging start to the year.

Pre-registration has opened for the TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition and Conference in Singapore (10-14 May).

As reported, TFWA is closely monitoring the coronavirus situation, but continuing preparations for the event as planned. Speaking to TRBusiness at the end of January, Alain Maingreaud, President, TFWA said ‘there was no plan B’ as far as the exhibition and conference is concerned.

The TFWA also indicates it is liaising with the authorities in Singapore and other relevant bodies and that it will ‘take appropriate action in the interests of the industry as and when necessary.”

CHANCE TO REGROUP

In addition to offering delegates the opportunity to learn more about the latest trends and innovations from the emerging Asia Pacific market, the event is a chance to discuss how the industry will rebound from a challenging start to the year.

Alain Maingreaud, President, TFWA said: “At a tough time for the travel business in Asia and beyond, we are continuing to prepare for our event in Singapore, which we trust will provide an opportunity for our industry to regroup and to plan for better times ahead.

“We remain optimistic that the effects of the current outbreak will be short term and we believe it is important to be ready for business to resume as quickly as possible once the immediate issues have been resolved. Our industry is resilient and I am sure this year’s event will provide further proof of that.”
