The health and wellbeing category is an “integral part of travel retail” with demand for natural products “booming”, according to Puressentiel Laboratory, which is set to open 20 new doors in the channel within the next few months.
The new stores add to the company’s growing network in the channel and will feature its core and best-selling ranges: Purifying, Circulation and Bite & Sting.
Puressentiel exhibited at the TFWA World Exhibition and Conference in Cannes, where it introduced its travel retail concept: a 360-degree permanent merchandising unit, as well as its travel exclusive offers.
The display furniture is characterised by a natural design with a QR code enabled quiz to help travellers devise a tailor-made routine featuring three recommend products.
The travel exclusive premium kits and GWPs have been designed especially to help convert travellers into shoppers.
Puressentiel initially launched in 12 travel retail stores and is currently listed with Lagardère Travel Retail, Dufry, Kappé and Delhi Duty Free.
On top of its permanent points of sale, the brand is present through 200 doors with its selection of travel essentials that aims to capitalise on impulse purchasing.
Puressentiel Laboratory also presented the new Aroma Stress range in Cannes, which comprises five products.
Three products are taken orally: the gummies, the oral spray and the capsules. There’s also the roll-on and the inhaler.
Puressentiel Laboratory was launched 15 years ago and has gone on to develop its range of health and wellbeing products based on essential oils and vegetable extracts that meet a range of traveller’s needs, from aiding better sleep to managing stress.
The family-owned company has an independent laboratory, with a focus on creating, manufacturing and delivering the products in an ethical, eco-responsible and sustainable way.
In support of its vision, the Puressentiel Foundation was created in in 2018, which is dedicated to supporting projects protecting nature, childhood, and health.
Since its creation, Puressentiel has supported 62 projects worldwide.
Starting this year, Puressentiel Laboratory has also adopted the UN’s Global Compact corporate responsibility initiative.
