Putting the consumer first: Register for TRConnect Consumer Insights Webinar

The hugely popular TRConnect webinar series is set to return with an exploration of the exclusive consumer insights from m1nd-set, which determined the finalists and winners of the consumer-voted 2020 Travel Retail Awards.

M1nd-set’s Travel Retail Research Director Clara Susset will present a detailed summary of the insights, which serve to recognise both finalists and winners in the consumer-voted 2020 *Travel Retail Awards.

Compiled from interviews with over 5,000 consumers who travel internationally, the insights revealed their likes and dislikes across 12 product categories.

Consumers also shared their views on eight airport and cruise award categories, including the first-ever ‘Best Retail Environment Onboard a Cruise Ship’ and ‘Best Green Initiative at an Airport’ awards, as voted by consumers.


The webinar will also hear from Adrian Pittaway, Head of Retail at MSC Cruises, winner of the very first consumer-voted cruise retail award, plus Nikolett Huszák, Senior Retail Marketing Manager at Budapest International Airport, winner of the inaugural consumer-voted airport green initiative award.

Other speakers include Christine Keeling, Founder of Long Haul Spa, which won ‘Best Skincare, Haircare, Bath & Body Product’, along with Luke Maga, Managing Director Travel Retail at Distell, Platinum Partner and finalist in the ‘Best Spirits Product’ award category.

The panellists will share their views on the importance of the consumer voice as well as reaction to the indispensable consumer feedback received. Other panellists will be confirmed in due course.
