PWI adds White Woods & Oud Tabac to fragrance lineup
By Luke Barras-hill |
Perfumer’s Workshop International (PWI) is boosting its Amouroud range with a new olfactive concept on show at TFWA Asia Pacific this year.
Amouroud White Woods is a collection of fresh, bright and airy scents for males and females that can be worn in the summer months, or all year round.
INTO THE WOODS
The range includes White Hinoki, the creation of Perfumer Angelique Nadau, which combines ginger, blood orange and white pepper to balance the sacred White Hinoki wood.
A base of bourbon and tobacco marries with labdanum, heliotrope and cinnamon at its core.
Lunar Vetiver from perfumer Jerome Di Marino plays on the fall of nightime and features a unique species of patchouli harvested on the Indonesian island of Java.
This twins with notes of bergamot, pimento and pink peppercorn alongside a medley of aromatic sage, night blooming cactus and black vanilla with hints of exotic tobacco flower and tonka bean.
OUD TABAC
PWI is also launching Oud Tabac, a new addition to its existing Amouroud line.
The fragrance blends oud, olibanum and amberwood with toasted caramel notes of vanilla bourbon, balsamic and ambery cistus.
Donald Bauchner, Founder, Perfumer’s Workshop said: “We think it is very important to keep our ranges exciting and new. Therefore, introducing new collections is a key element for our ongoing relevance and brand animation.
“The growth of ‘niche’ fragrance continues to be remarkable; its annual rate of growth continues to outpace prestige fragrances globally.
“Since this time last year, we have achieved listings in Indonesia, Singapore, India, China (mainland), Bangladesh and Vietnam. We are definitely seeing a mimic of the global growth rate in our company.”
Perfumer’s Workshop International is exhibiting on Level 1, T8.
