QuietOn Sleep noise-cancelling earbuds are now available to purchase via the online shops of several airlines.

Passengers can pick up the product at the Qantas store and use their air miles to purchase through other loyalty programmes such as KrisShop (Singapore Airlines), Miles & More (Lufthansa and other Star Alliance members) and Eva Sky Shop (Eva Air).

The Finland-based firm, which was present at TFWA Cannes last year, says the near cessation of inflight sales due to the coronavirus (Covid-19) has had a ‘considerable’ affect on business.

“What started like a fantastic 2020 for QuietOn Sleep sales on board on some of the world’s leading airlines, has now come to an almost complete stand still overnight,” commented Jere Tala, Commercial Director, QuietOn.

“As a small company we have had to adjust fast to find new revenue streams to keep our product in the travel retail. For travellers not being able to fly, this is the perfect time to spend those hard-earned miles and points. This will also help the airlines to have at least some revenue when they can’t operate passenger flights.

“By selling the product on airline loyalty programs we can all hopefully help few people to keep their jobs during these challenging times.”
