By Michael Barrett |

The Travel Retail Consumer Forum will take place on 20-22 September in London.

Registration is now open for the inaugural Travel Retail Consumer Forum (20-22 September 2021), the pioneering conference organised by TRBusiness and leading Swiss consumer travel research firm m1nd-set.

Delegates can now register for the two-day Travel Retail Consumer Forum via its dedicated website.

The event will be held at the Hilton London Paddington Hotel from 20-22 September.

As revealed, TRBusiness and m1nd-set are unleashing an unrivalled programme of consumer insights in a package worth six figures in value.

BOOK WITH CONFIDENCE GUARANTEE

The early bird registration fee is £495, which will be valid until 31 July. After that date, the standard rate will apply: £595.

In the unlikely event that the Travel Retail Consumer Forum is postponed, the registration fee will be automatically carried over to permit entry to the rescheduled event. Alternatively, a full refund is available.

The offer of a refund will also be extended to those with country-level travel restrictions in place at the time the event is due to take place.

The registration fee for the two-day event includes a comprehensive two-day conference where delegates will enjoy unparalleled intelligence with a full agenda of consumer insights across a wide range of relevant themes.

The conference fee also includes ample networking opportunities throughout the event, beginning with the Opening Cocktail on the evening of Monday 20 September.

As part of the networking opportunities, participating companies will have the opportunity to showcase products and/or services in the networking areas of the event.

Details of the various exhibition and sponsorship opportunities during the event can be found on the Get Involved page on the event website.

BACK TO LIVE, BACK TO REALITY

TRBusiness and m1nd-set have been encouraged by the wave of interest that has been pouring in since the inaugural Travel Retail Consumer Forum was announced last month [click link at footer to register].

Airports, retailers and brands – among other industry stakeholders – are backing the first industry gathering in nearly two years since the global pandemic brought the international meetings and events business to a grinding halt.

Airports, retailers and brands – among other industry stakeholders – are backing the first industry gathering in nearly two years since the global pandemic brought the international meetings and events business to a grinding halt.

As such, the Travel Retail Consumer Forum represents an important milestone in the return of physical events; it is essential that, as an industry, we lead by example and begin travelling once again.

A number of senior industry executives have told TRBusiness they are keen to share their own company perspectives on the dynamics of travelling consumer behaviour post-Covid.

PREFERENTIAL RATES ON HOTEL ROOMS

Conference delegates will benefit from a special Travel Retail Consumer Forum rate on hotel room bookings at the prestigious central London hotel on presentation of the dedicated conference discount code, which will be provided to delegates after registering.

The hotel is ideally situated in the London Paddington area, which is only 15 minutes away by Heathrow Express train from London Heathrow Airport.

TRBusiness and m1nd-set will present an unrivalled programme of consumer insights in a package worth six figures in value.

The opening networking event on Monday 20 September will be hosted at the Hilton London Paddington’s exclusive 146 Bar.

As well as the networking lunches on both conference days, delegates will be welcomed to a networking dinner at the hotel on the evening of Tuesday 21 September.

Every session over the two-day event will put the customer centre stage, unveiling the latest consumer perspectives across all aspects of the business.

The topics discussed will include technology and digitalisation, sustainability, health and well-being, the future of luxury in travel retail, category-specific sessions on shopper behaviour when travelling domestically and how the shopper experience in-store will need to evolve.
