By Luke Barras-hill |

The Palm Beach County Convention Center is staging the 2022 Summit of the Americas.

TRBusiness and m1nd-set are delighted to host the TR Consumer Forum Americas Special Edition at this week’s Summit of the Americas (10-13 April), which takes place at the Palm Beach County Convention Center in West Palm Beach, Florida.

The 90-minute session at 09:00-10:30 (local time) on Tuesday 12 April will kick off with a presentation from Peter Mohn, CEO, m1nd-set on the latest air traffic forecasts and insights on Americas travellers behaviours.

An immersive panel discussion will follow, focused around shifting consumer expectations, new customer-facing initiatives and the increasing importance of sustainability as a mega-trend influencing today’s businesses.

Attendees will hear from an experienced and distinguished lineup of panellists, including Enrique Urioste, General Manager, South America Sub Cluster, Dufry; Jackie McDonagh, General Manager, Aer Rianta International North America (ARINA); Tamara Riley, Americas Senior Marketing Manager, Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail; John McDonnell, Managing Director International, Tito’s Handmade Vodka; and Laura Swan, Chief Revenue Officer at LXR.

BUSY OPENING COCKTAIL

DF&TR regional stakeholders were welcomed back to a Summit of the Americas live event for the first time in three years [the event was cancelled in 2020 and held virtually in 2021] in typical fashion on Sunday 10 April.

The Americas-dedicated TR Consumer Forum will take place at 09:00-10:30 EDT on Tuesday 12 April.

The evening’s opening cocktail offered a perfect opportunity for colleagues and friends – and plenty of new entrants – to network in the relaxed surroundings of the Hilton West Palm Beach hotel’s courtyard garden.

TRBusiness enjoyed the opportunity to catch-up with many familiar faces in a location basking in the Florida sunshine, setting the stage for a busy few days of business.

The Opening Cocktail on Sunday 10 April was well attended, with Summit of Americas delegates in upbeat mood ahead of a busy week for the regional DF&TR business.
