Calvin Klein Fragrances has teamed with award-winning actor, Richard Madden, best known for playing the character of Robb Stark in the hit HBO series Game of Thrones, to launch a new men’s fragrance, Calvin Klein Defy.

 

From the House of IFF, created by Anne Flipo (Master Perfumer) Pascal Gaurin (Senior Perfumer) and Loc Dong (Senior Perfumer), the new scent is now available in travel retail locations.

 

The bottle was designed by Malin Ericson, while photographer Thomas Legrand was responsible for the ad visuals.

 

The Coty-owned brand says that the fragrance and campaign embrace ‘a journey of defiance, while exploring authentic truths and the contrasts within’.

“With a daring contrast of invigorating freshness and powerful woods, the fragrance defies expectations and evokes the ethos of the campaign, opening with an addictive blend of citrus highlighted by crisp Bergamot and fresh Lavender Absolute,” added Calvin Klein.

 

“The heartbeat of the fragrance and star ingredient, Vetiver Oil, is responsibly sourced from Haiti and provides a vibrant earthiness and irresistible rugged texture that compliments a rich and alluring base of Amber notes.”

 

The juice is contained in a minimalist glass bottle while the cap and carton pay homage to Calvin Klein jeans with a matte textured blue denim inspired finish and silver branding.
