Rituals builds on Clean & Conscious skincare focus for 2024

Rituals Bakuchiol is among the products in the 2024 Clean & Conscious focus.
Wellbeing brand Rituals is doubling down on its Clean & Conscious skincare focus as consumer trends shift towards “skincare as selfcare”.
Building on its successful 2023 launch, the brand is highlighting the sustainable range made using at least 93% natural origin ingredients.
The “high-performance” collection was developed to tackle early signs of ageing, and is said to deliver proven results based on efficacy and consumer panel testing.
Said to align with the selfcare trend, The Ritual of Namaste is built around products that enhance the skin’s natural beauty.
The collection features the Bakuchiol Repair Complex, developed to fight early signs of ageing.
Made using bakuchiol, a plant-based retinol alternative, alongside wild indigo, the product is said to minimise visible fine lines, improve skin’s elasticity, luminosity and radiance.
Also part of the collection is the Face Cleansing Bar, made with Vitamin E complex to cleanse, moisturise and balance skin. Its compact size was developed for use on the go while travelling.
Clean & Conscious: Rituals focuses on ingredients and packaging
According to Rituals, efficacy testing showed that the Anti-Ageing Day Cream reduced wrinkle volume by up to 33% and boosted firmness by up to 25% after 28 days of use.
The Anti-Ageing Serum was shown to reduce wrinkle depth by up to 42%, and improve hydration by up to 86% over the same period.

Bakuchiol – an alternative to retinol – is key to the collection.
In addition to its formulation, Rituals’ commitment to nature is also reaffirmed through its conscious packaging. Eco refills are available for the day and night creams, as well as serums.
“It’s about the definition of inner beauty,” said Niki Schilling, Chief Impact Officer at Rituals.
“With this, I mean feeling well, living a meaningful life, and feeling soulful. If you look at beauty that way, it goes hand-in-hand with wellbeing, as it is all about taking care of yourself, enjoying the little moments, and making routines into rituals.

Rituals says consumers are looking for products that promote ‘skincare as selfcare’
“We believe in making conscious choices that honour both the beauty of nature and your natural beauty.”
The Ritual of Namaste is available at select travel retail locations now. The full Clean & Conscious collection features four lines: Glow, Hydrate, Ageless, and Purify.
Earlier this month, Rituals opened a landmark store at CDF Sanya International Duty Free City, China.
