SipWell is targeting a presence for Lind & Lime across key hub destination airports.
SipWell Brands has been appointed the exclusive global travel retail distribution partner for Lind & Lime gin.
The agreement takes immediate effect, and the goal is for Lind & Lime to be available across all key hub destination airports, with top targets including London’s Heathrow, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Singapore Changi Airport, Istanbul Airport, Los Angeles International Airport and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport.
The partnership marks the first gin in SipWell’s portfolio.
“We are continuing our strong pace of growth as a business, and it is such a privilege to take on a brand of the quality of Lind & Lime, which is already capturing attention around the world,” said Andrew Torrance of SipWell Brands.
“The team there strive for perfection in all they do and their focus on innovation excites us all at SipWell.”
Launched in 2018, Lind & Lime, is distilled entirely with green electricity, produced with 100% organic ingredients, and packaged completely with plastic free materials.
Distilled in Edinburgh’s historic distilling district of Leith, Lind & Lime doubled its gin bottling capacity in May 2022 and is already exporting to 24 countries worldwide, including the US and Canada.

Lind & Lime is distilled entirely with green electricity.
“Opening our new energy efficient Lind & Lime distillery in May 2022 has been a game changer in our ability to meet consumer demand for our gin,” said Ian Stirling, Co-founder of Lind & Lime.
“We’re finally able to take this exciting step into travel retail and in Sipwell, we’ve found a partner with the ambition, experience, and credentials to take this project forward.”
The gin takes its name and inspiration from Dr James Lind, an Edinburgh educated Royal Navy surgeon who is recognised for developing the theory that citrus fruits such as limes could prevent scurvy.
Lind & Lime is a London dry gin with juniper at its core and a ‘crisp, refreshing citrus character’.
The company’s Co-founders Ian Stirling and Paddy Fletcher are also behind the new US$14,461 million (£12 million) purpose-built ‘vertical’ Port of Leith whisky distillery, which is set to produce a distinctive new single malt.
Global premium drinks specialist SipWell manages a portfolio of a diverse range of spirits brands, from ultra-premium rum Dictador, to Mexican tequila Casa Dragones and premium Caribbean rum, Black Tot.
It also looks after whiskies The Glenturret, Finn Thomson Private Single Cask Collection, Port Askaig, Fable and the Japanese single malt Karuizawa from Elixir Distillers.
