Skross gears up for Cannes with expanded travel lifestyle collection

The new Skross Travel range was inspired by the distinctive Swiss Army blanket.

Technology and adapter accessories specialist WorldConnect will present a new travel lifestyle range from its flagship Skross brand to customers at this year’s TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes (Stand C14, Blue Village).

The Skross Travel collection – described as a natural evolution of “Swissness” – was inspired by the iconic Swiss Army blanket, which was introduced at the end of the 19th century.

Skross has updated the design concept to create a modern, portable travel blanket, in a soft material that is less itchy than the woollen original. It is complemented by the Original Skross Travel Pillow, which is shaped like a mini rectangle. The pillow features the distinctive Skross logo design and is available in different grey/red colour combinations.

Travel comfort and convenience

Additional products within the new Skross Travel lifestyle range are the Deluxe Sleep Mask; luggage tags made from leather and felt; and strong, secure luggage straps.

“The new Skross Travel lifestyle range complements our existing adapters and charging accessories perfectly,” noted WorldConnect Managing Partner Sam Gerber.

The Skross travel lifestyle range incorporates a deluxe sleep mask, a rectangular mini-pillow, luggage tags and luggage straps.

“Our aim is not to be another full range travel accessories provider in travel retail. However, we recognise that there is space and need for a selected number of comfort items that not only feel great but also carry a great brand story with it. We are looking forward to presenting our unique story to our travel retail partners during Cannes.”

Gerber added: “It’s a great way to launch our plans to expand the Skross travel retail distribution network with a new consumer-facing traveller ambassador programme also launching this year.”

In addition to its new lifestyle Travel collection, Skross will present new products within its core ‘Travel, Power, Charge’ portfolio at the Cannes show, alongside new retail display solutions and POS promotional material.
