Spirit of Dublin lives on in Cannes

First Ireland Spirits, a newcomer to the Irish Bord Bia stand at TFWA in Cannes (Mediterranean Village N17) has announced that it will be launching The Dubliner – its new Irish whiskey liqueur.
The company describes the drink as a blend of honeycomb, caramel and whiskey flavours married together into a liqueur that is designed to capture the essence of Dublin culture.
The label and 700ml bottle design contains images of grain with a strong, decisive description of the product, brought together by the immortal words of James Joyce: ' When I Die, Dublin Will Be Written In My Heart'.
Cmmenting on the launch, Johnny Harte, First Ireland Spirits Sales & Marketing Director said: ‘We have invested heavily as a company in R&D and are proud that after two years in development we are finally able to bring 'The Dubliner' to the market. Travel retail is a very exciting market for us and we are therefore delighted to be launching the brand at TFWA World Exhibition this year.'
While this is The Dubliner's launch into travel retail markets, First Ireland Spirits is not completely new to the market. Its Feeney's Irish Cream liqueur is already a familiar name in Irish airports, while the company is also a part-owner of well known brand Brogan's Irish Cream – available in Original, Vanilla, Mint and Creme Caramel flavours. Both brands will also be featured on the stand.
