Andrew Lynch, Ceo of SSP, commented: ‘This latest deal is a significant development in SSP?s plans for expansion in North America. With the acquisition of this exciting business in Toronto, we are delighted to have further consolidated our position in a market that offers major opportunities for growth.’
Separately, Paul Damico, COO, Creative Host Services said: ‘We are delighted to welcome the experienced team at Toronto, led by General Manager Chris Andreoff, and we?re looking forward to further developing our relationships with the excellent brand partners in the region.’
Meanwhile, in a separate and more modest development SSP has opened a new-style free flow landside restaurant at George Best Belfast City Airport in the UK. Called the Gallery Restaurant, the new outlet is located landside, and overlooks the runway.
