Suppliers back consumer-voted awards for year two
By Luke Barras-hill |
Global travel retail suppliers have given the Travel Retail Awards’ consumer-voted format the vote of confidence, with TRBusiness delighted to announce that the event will return to Singapore in 2019.
We asked the industry whether it feels a consumer-judged format is more relevant to the business.
“Having a real consumer awards where people are voting for brands based on what they look like, feel like, taste like is a real advocacy for any brand and something we should support,” commented Halewood Wines & Spirits’ Simon Roffe.
Rituals’ Neil Ebbutt added: “Deep down I’m a marketeer, so the consumer is the all-important judge of our brand.”
