Sustainability at the heart of Rituals’ The Iconic Collection of fragrances
By Charlotte Turner |
Rituals Cosmetics is relaunching its Eau de Parfum collection, by introducing The Iconic Collection – comprising 10 scents – boasting an improved design, sustainably created and inspired by ‘the precious ingredients found in the world’s most iconic and ancient destinations’, says the brand.
Rituals’ perfumers have created an exclusive collection of perfumes which invite travellers to ‘trace the footsteps of the world’s finest perfumers and join them on a rich and adventurous olfactory expedition’.
Elise Benat, Perfumer at the world’s largest privately-owned perfume and taste company, Firmenich, commented: “I am inspired by the scents around me day to day and working on this project with Rituals has been a great experience as it is a brand that is centred on the importance of ancient fragrance traditions and scent memories created through daily moments.
“It is nice to create scents with this in mind and that are meant to ultimately make the wearer feel happy and confident.”
In line with Rituals’ sustainability commitments, each perfume utilises carefully selected ingredients, which are over 80% natural origin ingredients.
The travel size perfume can be refilled and all perfume bottles can be disassembled completely for 100% recycling, states Rituals.
The Iconic Collection is now available in all standalone Rituals travel retail stores, as well as all Rituals shop-in-shops in travel retail Middle East and select shop-in-shops in travel retail Europe.
