By Michael Barrett |

The 2022 Sustainability Pitch programme, which takes place during the annual Travel Retail Sustainability Week online event, will feature a stellar line-up of 20 senior industry executives – returning and new – as judges to determine the 2022 TR Sustainability Heroes and Trailblazers.

The Sustainability Guardians (pictured below) includes executives from airports, retailers as well as research agency m1nd-set and industry consultancy TRACE Consulting.

The Sustainability Guardians will evaluate a series of pitches submitted by companies across all categories.

Participating companies submit a 3-5 minute video which can feature either the company’s overarching sustainability and CSR strategy or a specific initiative.

Packages to enter the Sustainability Pitch start at £4,750. If you wish a member of TRBusiness to contact you, please click here.

TRBusiness Joint Owners and Managing Directors Nigel Hardy and Janice Hook commented: “The interest and enthusiasm among our returning and new Sustainability Guardians is testimony to the importance of this unique and innovative programme.

“It not only allows industry stakeholders to tell their stories but also enables their key customers – the airports and retailers judging the programme – to discover a new and diverse range of sustainable initiatives in a very direct way.

“Our panel of judges last year were extremely impressed with the diverse range of initiatives being undertaken and planned so it is also a great opportunity for the pitch participants to open doors with these key customers.”
