Puressentiel: The Puressentiel Sustainability Story
The Sustainability Pitch sessions are assessed by 25 judges with an eclectic background of travel retail experience. Each judge was tasked with evaluating the pitches based on specific guidelines, such as the initiative’s impact on the environment, corporate approach to sustainability and consumer reaction.
Following each Pitch, a short Q&A session will ensue between the judges and pitching company.
Judges described the Fraas pitch as a great presentation on sustainability and were impressed that the company’s sustainability practice tackles the sourcing of materials, as well as waste and emissions.
They also praised the Moroccanoil pitch and the fact its sustainability programme commenced back in 2014. In addition, Moroccanoil’s marketing strategy and packaging received positive feedback.
Finally, Puressentiel, this session’s sole ‘Sustainability Hero’, was commended for its holistic approach to business. This includes support for producers and controls across the supply chain.
TRBusiness would like to congratulate all Pitch participants for partaking in the initiative, which is designed to give companies a unique opportunity to showcase their sustainable products, services and/or corporate sustainability strategies within duty free and channel retail.

Puressentiel, this session’s sole ‘Sustainability Hero’ was commended for its holistic approach to business.
All will be able to showcase the Sustainability Hero and Trailblazer logos, which will serve as a convenient reference for travelling consumers at the same time as offering essential recognition of their environmentally conscious approaches.
