Tax Free World Association presidential election to take place on 9 December

Members of the Tax Free World Association (TFWA) Management Committee (MC) will gather on 9 December to elect the association’s President.
TRBusiness broke the news of current incumbent Erik Juul-Mortensen’s return to the helm of TFWA in December 2021, when he was voted in on a 12-month term.
In accordance with TFWA statutes, the President will serve on a one-year mandate until December 2023.
Members of the MC planning to stand for election are asked to lodge their intent with the TFWA Election Committee by Thursday 8 December.
External candidates are required to submit their candidacy no later than Tuesday 8 November by recorded mail to the TFWA Election Committee, Tax Free World Association, 23-25 rue de Berri, 75008 Paris, France.
As reported, a new TFWA Board and TFWA MC was elected during this month’s TFWA World Exhibition & Conference in Cannes (2-6 October). They will serve the association 0n a two-year mandate from October 2022 to October 2024.
Rituals Global Travel Retail Director Melvin Broekaart has joined the Board, while Aude Bourdier from Brown-Forman has departed.
