The Tax Free World Association (TFWA) will host an online event shining the light on the resurgent Chinese duty free market this December.
Running for three days (1-3 December), ‘China Reborn’ will feature a series of seminars.
Guests will enjoy insights unboxing the industry’s recovery in China, including the latest traffic data, market developments and changes to shopping behaviours.
Meanwhile, a new virtual platform will showcase TFWA’s One2One meeting service, connecting brands, retailers, airports and other decision makers in China.
TFWA President Alain Maingreaud said: “TFWA is delighted to restate its commitment to the Chinese market through the launch of this unique event, which will allow our members to reconnect with key retailers and other stakeholders at a time of change.
“A re-emergent Chinese market will play a central role in the rebirth of the global industry, and we are looking forward to working with our partners in China on this initiative.”
China Reborn is the latest in a series of online events organised by the association for the second half of the year.
Next week, TFWA will host a sustainability webinar addressing environmental and ethical issues and how these are influencing travelling consumers.
