For the first time, TFWA World Exhibition and Conference and TFWA Innovation Lab visitor and exhibitor badge-holders will be permitted entry to the Welcome Cocktail free of charge.

Social events at this year’s TFWA World Exhibition and Conference in Cannes will move to the new location of Port Canto.

The Welcome Cocktail will take place at the new venue on 29 September from 7:30pm. For the first time, all TFWA World Exhibition and Conference and TFWA Innovation Lab visitor and exhibitor badge-holders will be permitted entry to the cocktail event free of charge, numbers permitting.

Entry will require presentation of a personal guest e-invitation, which replaces the printed invitation. The e-invitation will be issued shortly before the event. These admit one person only and will include a barcode which is unique and personal to each guest.

The Scene night-spot is also located at Port Canto and will be open each night from Monday 30 September to Thursday 3 October.

‘OUTSTANDING LINE-UP’ OF SOCIAL EVENTS

Le Premium Evening will be held on Thursday 3 October. Those with full delegate packages are invited to the event and offered entry to The Scene on the same night.

Alain Maingreaud, TFWA President said: “We are thrilled to announce a truly outstanding line-up of social events for this year’s TFWA World Exhibition & Conference. With the headline events being held at the new Port Canto venue, we hope to create a relaxed and stress-free environment for delegates to socialise and broaden their networks during the week.

“The Opening Cocktail is now free of charge for visitor and exhibitor badge-holders and we are expecting a high turnout for this top-flight travel retail diary date. As numbers will be limited by capacity, please arrive in plenty of time to avoid disappointment.”

A shuttle service will operate from all major hotels, with further information on timings available here.
