Duty free and travel retail stakeholders are now able to pre-register for this year’s TFWA World Exhibition & Conference (1-5 October), which returns to the Palais des Festivals in Cannes.

After the first full-scale return of the industry’s flagship event in October last year, brands, retailers, airport landlords, inflight concessionaires, cruise lines, agents and others can look forward to key business networking and education opportunities plus a chance to explore the latest trends, innovations and insights.

The popular TFWA i.lab will make a comeback, acting as a hub for new ideas generation while shining the spotlight on new ways to engage travelling consumers.

Erik Juul-Mortensen, President, TFWA said: “After the success of our event in Singapore, we are pleased to bring all of our industry colleagues, trade partners and members back to the Côte d’Azur this October for TFWA World Exhibition & Conference 2023.

“It is certain to be an unmissable gathering, further emphasising our resolute commitment to accelerating the recovery of the global duty free and travel retail industry.”

Last year’s TFWA World Exhibition & Conference attracted more than 5,983 visitors – up 77% on 2021 but below the record 7,215-plus visitors recorded in 2019.
