The Travel Retail Tradeshow attracts more concessionaires

The organisers of The Travel Retail Tradeshow (TRT) for inflight retail and catering – taking place on 16-18th September at the Hilton Hotel London Gatwick – says it is ‘delighted’ by the call to arms by the world’s major concessionaires.
Concessionaires that represent over 80 airlines between them have now confirmed their attendance. “We have very long standing relationships with all stakeholders within this retail channel and they trust us to deliver a professional and meaningful event” says TRT Managing Director, Christine Martin.
The organisers of ISPY (Travel Retail Training Ltd) announced that they would be launching a new tradeshow, combining inflight retail and catering, back in March this year.
Martin says that the ‘buzz word’ for 2014 is innovation. “We want to provide airline buyers and concessionaires with innovative products to consider. Therefore, we are encouraging attendance from suppliers that are new to inflight retail with our very affordable ‘Display Table and Shell Scheme Stands’ packages. Suppliers who want to host meetings and make this an ‘order writing opportunity,’ there are a number of private showrooms available.”
TRT says accommodation will be complimentary (terms and conditions apply), as well as after dinner entertainment, and lots of additional networking opportunities.
“We understand that time and money are in short supply and we aim to deliver a tradeshow which is a ‘must attend’ and offers excellent value for money for all stakeholders”.
