Prot?g? International is presenting its new Wild Geese Irish Whiskey as a super premium Collection in a special miniatures gift set for the duty free and travel retail sector at next month's TFWA Asia Pacific
show.
The company said: ‘The Wild Geese Collection is exceptional according not only to the incredible feedback received from customers in more than 30 countries, but to Jim Murray in the 2009 edition of his ?Whisky Bible?.
‘Jim Murray describes The Wild Geese Limited Edition Fourth Centennial as 'Simply stunning?. a limited edition of unlimited beauty.' He goes on: 'One of the lightest, subtle, intriguing and quite simply disarming Irish whiskeys on the market. As a bird and whiskey lover, this is one goose that I shall be looking out for.'’
The Wild Geese Collection's Fourth Centennial Limited Edition scored 93 out of 100 in Jim Murray's 2009 Whisky Bible.Meanwhile, Prot?g? says that it understands the vital role played by the operators in the duty free and travel retail channel and this is why it has 'created the perfect gift' for the duty free shop.
It says that 'The Wild Geese Collection' miniatures gift set offers 'three sensational whiskeys in one elegant presentational gift set' and, equally importantly, customers who are not familiar with whiskey can now buy this exclusive travel retail gift.
The collection consists of three 50ml (5cl) mini decanter-style bottles of The Wild Geese Rare Irish Whiskey, The Wild Geese Single Malt and The Wild Geese Limited Edition, offered in an open front presentation box, which bears the legend of The Wild Geese and a description of each whiskey.
In addition and 'to assist duty free operators' Prot?g? International has devised a useful gift with purchase: a branded black and orange padded backpack designed to accommodate two Wild Geese decanter-style bottles and their gift boxes, which will be available at selected duty free and travel retail outlets.
The Wild Geese Collection will be exhibited at TFWA Asia Pacific in Singapore next month May (stand L35) and later at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes, SIAL in Shanghai, Vinexpo in Bordeaux, WSWA in Orlando and at various Whisky Live and Malt Advocate shows around the world.
