Tintamar TR changes
By Doug Newhouse |
French accessories designer Tintamar has restructured its travel retail organisation with the appointment of Marie Fernandez as Travel Retail Sales Manager Europe & Americas and Bastien Combes as Travel Retail Sales Manager Asia Pacific & the Middle East.
Leading the sales team is Commercial Director Cyrille Ravard who joined the company in December 2010.
Tintamar was launched in the travel retail channel only four years ago and is now well established with listings in nearly 20 airports and 30 onboard more than 30 major airlines.
MOST POPULAR ITEM…
The most popular item from their catalogue so far is the Very Intelligente Pocket, the small clutch bag in leather or nylon which keeps essential small items together when switching from one large bag to another.
As well as consolidating those listings with new lines, such as the Vanity Bag, the Refresh Make-up and the Bag ‘n’ Roll, the travel retail team will focus on improving the profile of Tintamar with marketing initiatives backed up by branded merchandising and staff training.
Edith Petit, Chairman and Creative Director said: “Global travel retail is an excellent vehicle for many of the Tintamar species of products. We make intelligent daily bags which are practical and purposeful, attractive and adaptable.
“Now we have an excellent team in place to deal direct with airlines, airports and ferry companies so that we can introduce more consumers to the beautiful Tintamar territory.”
Tintamar will exhibit at TFWA Asia Pacific from May 16 to 19 in the Singapore Suntec on stand H10.
