Tito's Year of Dog

Tito’s latest travel retail exclusive celebrates the upcoming Year of the Dog.

In preparation for the upcoming Chinese New Year of the Dog, Tito’s Handmade Vodka has launched a promotional gift bag exclusively for DF&TR shoppers.

The Year of the Dog gift bag follows a succession of travel retail exclusives from the vodka supplier, such as Tito’s Ugly Sweater promotion.

The red and gold Year of the Dog gift bag, which symbolises ‘happiness and good fortune’, is available from duty free stores worldwide with DFS Group, International Shoppes, DFASS and Dufry Group.

CANINE CONNECTION

According to the brand, Tito’s Handmade Vodka has become known as the ‘vodka for dog people’ thanks to the company owner’s love of dogs.

The brand’s connection with dogs coincides with the company’s 1997 origins, when founder Tito Beveridge saw the plight of stray dogs on and around the site of his new distillery.

Since then, he has been involved in animal rescue and has established close links with animal charities.

Commenting on the latest travel retail initiative, Tito’s International MD John McDonnell said: “Chinese New Year is one of the most celebrated festivals on earth and this year has a special significance for us. We look forward to celebrating it with our customers and fans around the world.”
