Tobias Baude takes up his post in October, in time for TFWA Cannes.

Imperial Brands has announced Tobias Baude as its new Head of Corporate & Legal Affairs Global Duty Free & Export, effective October.

Baude joins Imperial following the departure of Dr. Jennifer Cords, the tobacco company’s well-respected Head of Corporate Affairs and Compliance for Global Duty Free & Export.

He will join the management team based at the global duty free headquarters in Madrid and will be responsible for promoting and protecting the affairs of the duty free business.

Christian Münstermann, Global Duty Free & Export Sales and Marketing Director praised the ‘wealth of knowledge’ that Baude brings to the new role, adding: “He joins us from Imperial AIT Systems & Strategy where he was working as a Senior Engagement Manager. Next to coding & tracking, Tobias has strong and profound experience in regulatory, compliance and engagement topics around the world.”

Andrew Heley, Global Duty Free & Export Finance Director added: “We are very happy to have Tobias on board for all future challenges and all the great opportunities in global duty free.”

Baude will be present at the upcoming TFWA World Exhibition & Conference.
