Guests travelled from around the world, Asia, Middle East, Latin America and even local Los Angeles, to attend the cocktail party and dinner launching the new makeup line.

The international crowd included media, influencers and celebrities such as Meiqi Meng, a pop star from Mainland China and Ning Chang, an actress from China Taiwan.

‘DRENCHED IN HYDRATION’

Earlier that day, Tom Ford Beauty hosted an interactive masterclass at MILK Studios, with a demonstration on ‘how to achieve the look of an endless summer’. “Attendees learned tips and techniques needed to achieve the perfect glow all year around, and for travellers heading to warmer climates,” say parent company Estée Lauder Companies (ELC).

“Five of the influencers continued their Soleil journey, seeking their endless summer in the most exotic travel destinations, from the Cook Islands to Indonesia to South Africa.”

The Soleil Summer 2019 Collection comprises lip tints, lipstick, a compact foundation and bronzers, all ‘drenched in refreshing hydration’.

“[The collection includes] juicy lip tints that reflect the gleam of a pool, a balmy lipstick with 24K gold-coloured flecks, a summer-ready cushion compact foundation that cools skin as it corrects, and luxurious bronzers that rival the ultimate sun worship.”
