TR Awards finalist Cabeau to display functional travel portfolio in Cannes
By Luke Barras-hill |
Travel neck pillow specialist Cabeau is looking forward to showcasing its Incredi-belt and Incredi-heat products at this year’s TFWA World Exhibition & Conference (2-6 October) in Cannes.
The US-based travel accessories firm is a prestigious finalist in the only consumer-voted awards in the industry, the Global Travel Retail Awards, for both products.
“It is an extreme honour for Cabeau to be recognised as a Global Travel Retail Award finalist and to be considered a premium provider in the ever-expanding travel accessories market,” commented David Sternlight, Chief Executive Officer, Cabeau.
“We are thrilled to bring the Cabeau brand back to the annual TFWA World Exhibition & Conference in Cannes and look forward to sharing our award-winning consumer travel products and company updates with attendees from around the world.”
Addressing neck and back pain
Cabeau is taking the opportunity at this year’s summit event for DF&TR to introduce visitors to its functional travel innovations that help consumers address health and wellness issues relating to the human body.
The Incredi-belt offers targeted support to improve posture and help reduce lower back stress and muscle strain.
It has a proprietary design that helps correct mechanical back pain, which results from a failure to maintain the S-curve of the lower spine.

Cabeau (Yellow Village, A21), will exhibit functional travel innovations that assist consumers.
A portable USB-powered heating pad with universal connectivity (for use with power banks, computers and in cars and airlines) offers comfort to users to ease muscle strain and pain.
Elsewhere, Cabeau will demonstrate in Cannes its award-winning travel neck pillows including the Evolution S3 that boasts the Seat Strap System to eliminate head drop and neck strain.
Sternlight added: “In addition to displaying our product focus of providing health and wellness solutions and sustainable product design to our customers at TFWA, Cabeau will be sharing information about how we are helping to make our planet a better place to live.
“We will be talking about our recent commitment to being plastic neutral by the middle of 2023. This will be achieved through our partnership with CleanHub, a non-profit organisation that enables companies to take measurable and effective action against the plastic problem in the ocean.”
New SVP Marketing
In related news, Cabeau has announced the appointment of Lindsay Aust as its new Senior Vice President, Marketing.
Prior to joining Cabeau she worked for various consumer packaged goods companies, including Crocs footwear.
“Cabeau has an amazing and established brand but there is so much more to achieve,” said Aust. “Post-pandemic, people were hungry to travel again. We wanted Cabeau to be their first pick for travel accessories.
“Next, we plan on even more innovation paired with exciting marketing activations to ensure Cabeau is the first name people think of when they want premium comfort in travel. I look forward to shaking things up and helping the brand become its next best iteration in the coming year.”
Sternlight added: “Lindsay has a wonderful background growing big-name brands. She has immediately made a huge difference in our marketing efforts. We are honoured to have her on our leadership team.”
