Consumer Forum livestream registration now open

Following popular demand, TRBusiness and m1nd-set are delighted to now welcome delegates to the TR Consumer Forum remotely via a livestream. 

 

TRBusiness and m1nd-set are thrilled at the number of delegates who have already registered to attend the inaugural TR Consumer Forum in person and the list continues to grow every day.

 

A significant number of companies have also expressed their interest in attending, but are unable to do so due to either national or corporate travel restrictions.

 

The organisers of the inaugural TR Consumer Forum took the decision to livestream the conference and Travel Retail Awards ceremony – which is taking place during the gala dinner – to avoid disappointing so many who have expressed their interest to attend the event.

Online delegates are now able to register for the livestream through the event website by opting for the relevant online access option in the registration menu.

The livestream will be made available directly via the TravelRetailConsumerForum.com website via a unique login and password made available to all delegates registering for online access.

 

The cost of the online access to the event is the same as the on-site access and applies to all stakeholders company and category-wide: £595. Sponsors of the conference will receive unlimited complimentary access for their delegates who are unable to attend in-person.

 

TRBusiness Head of Events and CSR Michael Barrett explained the move: “We have received so many positive comments from participants who are looking forward to their first in-person industry event in two years.

 

“There are also many individuals and companies who have asked if they are able to access remotely.

 

“While we initially preferred to keep at as in-person only event, given the strong interest in attending via the livestream, we wanted to ensure we did not disappoint the many who want to attend, but would find it too difficult due to travel restrictions imposed country or company-wide.”

 

 

POWERFUL CONSUMER-CENTRIC CONTENT

“There is a great deal of excitement in particular around the consumer-centric theme, Barrett continued.

 

“Everyone recognises the need to understand how consumer behaviour is changing in the context of the global pandemic: how travellers are behaving differently when planning their international trips, how they will behave in store and how their preferences for specific products or categories have evolved.

 

“They are also keen to learn more in particular how airports, cruise companies, retailers and brands are adapting to these changes; what they are doing differently, and whether this is effective in enticing the shopper to visit, browse and buy.

 

“As this is the first and only conference in the duty free and travel retail sector which deals exclusively with the all-important consumer, the insights from m1nd-set that will be shared across each session and the input from the powerful speaker line-up are generating a huge buzz.
