Travel Blue to launch new ‘Hygiene Range’ tailored for travellers in October

By Charlotte Turner |

Travel Blue is launching a new range of hygiene products, designed for travellers to help combat the spread of Covid-19, following months of ‘in-depth research and strict testing to comply with the relevant regulations and standards required across major countries around the world’, emphasised the company.

The ‘Hygiene Range by Travel Blue’ offers personal protection products specifically for travellers.

“When it comes to hand sanitisers and face masks, currently the market offers large bottles or pack sizes, which are inconvenient for people on the go, shopping or on holiday,” it said.

SMALL, RESEALABLE PACKS

“Most people are forced to carry a large bottle of hand cleansing liquid or a large pack of face masks in their handbag, which is clearly not comfortable at all.”

The new Hygiene Range consists of six products.

The range comes in small-size, resealable packs, which can be easily placed into bags without taking up a lot of space, insists Travel Blue.

A small packet of five disposable face masks or a small bottle of hand sanitiser spray ‘takes up hardly any room’.

The Hygiene Range also includes ‘the Hygiene Kit’ which again comes in a very small pack containing two face masks; two sets of Latex gloves and four cleansing wipes.

Aside from the Hygiene Kit, the Hygiene Range by Travel Blue consists of five other products: pack of five disposable face masks (one-size-fits-all); a multi-use silver ion antibacterial, washable fabric face mask; 20 hygienic wet wipes, individually wrapped, guaranteed to kill 99.9% of germs; 100ml antiseptic hand sanitizing alcohol spray and finally, 10 disposable latex gloves.

REGULATION HURDLES

According to Jonathan Smith, Executive & Travel Retail Director of Travel Blue, it has been a ‘challenging few months to overcome the various hygiene regulations and certification’.

“Clearly Covid-19 will continue to be around us for some time until a vaccination is found, so everyone leaving home will need to carry these products with them during their travels.

“At the same time, with travel already returning in many countries around the world and more people wanting to take holidays, demand for such a range of products is expected to be very high.”

The products, along with a bespoke display unit are going to be available from October.
