TR Awards’ first ever Platinum Sponsor, Furla, renews its support for third year

Italian fashion brand, Furla is the latest company to confirm its support of the 2020 Travel Retail Awards – the only consumer-voted awards dedicated to the duty free and travel retail industry – as a Platinum Sponsor for the third consecutive year; following in the footsteps of fellow Platinum Sponsors Mars Wrigley International Travel Retail and Foreo.
Furla was the very first Platinum Sponsor of the Travel Retail Awards launched in 2017 and has been an invaluable partner, providing unwavering support for the initiative in the years since.
“Furla is delighted to renew its sponsorship to the prestigious consumer-voted Travel Retail Awards which will take place during the TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition in Singapore,” says the company.
“We are honoured to sponsor the industry’s only consumer-voted awards created by TRBusiness in partnership with m1nd-set, as it is great initiative that brings together companies from all sectors of our industry focusing on customer’s feedbacks on the most successful products.”
There are now just three weeks left to enter the 2020 Travel Retail Awards.
The second edition of the awards programme this year saw a marked surge in interest with double-digit growth in the number of participating companies, in recognition of the awards’ legitimacy following the successful launch of the consumer awards in 2018.
The third edition in 2020 is expected to attract even more interest; the awards programme and ceremony, which takes place on Tuesday 12 Mary in Singapore during the annual TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition and Conference, is now firmly established as one of the major events in the industry calendar.
Nominations for the Best Green Initiative at an Airport can be submitted by the airport or any of its commercial partners including retailers and food and beverage operators.
The 2020 Travel Retail Awards will support two environmental charities, which will be announced in the coming weeks.
The Travel Retail Awards are organised in partnership with Swiss research agency m1nd-set, the industry’s leading consumer insights company. A panel of more than 5000 consumers, recruited from m1nd-set’s database of international travellers judge each award category for both the products and airports awards.
