Travel Retail Tradeshow attracts three major concessionaires

By Charlotte Turner |

The organisers of the new Travel Retail Tradeshow (TRT & ISPY) reveal that Inflight Services Scandinavia, Tourvest and ISG will be attending the event planned for the 16-18th September at the London Gatwick Hilton Hotel.

As previously reported by TRBusiness.com, the organisers of ISPY (Travel Retail Training Ltd) launched the new tradeshow, which will combine inflight retail and catering, in March of this year.

For the Travel Retail Tradeshow they are encouraging airlines to attend as a delegation, but this time as a delegation of buyers of gifting, retail consumables and catering. The organisers believe that this ‘coming together’ could drive efficiencies and innovation

“At first suppliers could not believe the incredible value we were offering,” says Christine Martin, Managing Director. “We have had to explain that there is no catch and our priority is to provide unrivalled value for money, whilst ensuring the quality of the event is not compromised.

“As with every new tradeshow, the suppliers want to know which buyers are coming and the buyers want to know which suppliers are coming. It is our job to bring them all together.”

Airlines attend ISPY as a delegation, which includes crew, training and performance management and buyers.
