TRBusiness seeks Brands and Social Media Editor across all platforms

TRBusiness is delighted to announce that it is recruiting for a new Brands and Social Media Editor; an excellent opportunity to join a fantastic team in an exciting and multi-faceted role, serving the dynamic and constantly evolving duty free & travel retail industry.


The role of the Brands and Social Media Editor will be to offer editorial support across the breadth of TRBusiness Ltd’s products:, the TRBusiness e-zine, e-newsletters, TRConnect webinars, event websites (including Travel Retail Consumer Forum, Travel Retail Sustainability Week and and social media channels such as Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn and Instagram.


The main duties involve covering press releases, interviewing and chasing stories for; supplying features and category reports for the print/digital magazines reporting to the Managing Editor; and acting as an ambassador for the company at press events – including those overseas. This is in addition to monitoring and generating social media content, with a view to developing TRBusiness’ presence over time.


The Brands and Social Media Editor will pay particular attention to brand/product news covering all channels, geographic areas and categories, in addition to working on key business items.


TRBusiness has a leadership position in the travel retail B2B media; this year, the company will celebrate its 25th anniversary. With that in mind, the successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to deepen TRBusiness’ market-leading editorial relationships with brands (chiefly), plus other stakeholders across the value chain (airports, retailers, airlines, downtown/border shops, associations etc).
