The Travel Retail Business is proud to announce that, to date, has clocked 3,868,537 page views (individual pages opened) since it launched in February of this year.


The total visits (users that have visited and viewed one or more pages) to the site reached 761,739 and our busiest month was October with 418,856 hits (every time an image or html file is opened or downloaded). Data has been taken from the site’s raw web server logs, which are 100% accurate. – previously known as TREND – was launched in February earlier this year after a long and intensive build process. is wholly owned by the Travel Retail Business after Generation Research President, Yngve Bia, made the decision to transfer his 50% share in the website to his long-time joint venture partner, The Travel Retail Business magazine. web traffic graphic

The new site is not only aesthetically pleasing and user friendly, it hosts a whole range of multimedia content, including images, photo galleries and videos. Editor, Charlotte Smith, is particularly pleased with the success of the 60 second news updates that the company has become renowned for. “It’s definitely a point of difference for us and the regular video news formula seems to be very popular for busy executives on the go.”


Another exciting addition to the TRBusiness digital portfolio was the The Travel Retail Business App – free to download – which now ensures that anyone from the travel retail industry can access the leading monthly title for the duty free/travel retail industry. To date, 1500 people have downloaded the App from iTunes.


We also made the entire issue available to view online as a flash-based, interactive magazine – which incorporates rich media – suitable for PCs or Macs. It was yet again in October that triumphed with 13,091 total page views recorded for the online edition (this includes the Top 10 Operators Report).

Readers can enjoy entire monthly editions of the Travel Retail Business Magazine on the go via apple devices – such as the iPhone and iPad – and on an Android device or touch-screen Blackberry.
