TRBusiness and Bluedog Productions can now reveal that the TRMarketplace event will take place from 28 September – 2 October; the dates of the now cancelled 2020 TFWA World Exhibition & Conference, which was due to take place in Cannes.
As reported, the TFWA announced on 12 May its decision to cancel the event, having cancelled the Asia Pacific event that would have taken place this week.
TRBusiness and Bluedog Productions announced the launch of its new iOS, Android and web-based exhibition platform for the duty free & travel retail industry, earlier this week.
The meeting and networking platform will connect buyers and suppliers from the comfort of their offices (or homes) during a week-long event and will also play host to a virtual ceremony for the 2020 consumer-voted Travel Retail Awards.

TRBusiness chose deliberately to hold off making its announcement until the TFWA confirmed their decision to cancel the Cannes event.
LAUNCHPAD FOR NEW PRODUCTS
Available for all categories, The TRMarketplace will allow each supplier/brand access to a dedicated ‘brand hub’, where they can showcase their respective product portfolios. Brands can upload all relevant documentation for visitors to browse and download (access restricted).
Brands will even be able to facilitate the launch of new products which they may well have had planned for Cannes.
With a fixed price to exhibit of GBP£4,495 (ex VAT) – for every company regardless of size – TRBusiness and Bluedog Productions believe that this opportunity is accessible to all.
Retailers, airports, cruise lines, border stores and airlines will all be able to gain free-of-charge access to the TRMarketplace as visitors.
