TRMarketplace to feature ‘Consumer Insights hub’
By Michael Barrett |
As interest and huge support pours in from all sides of the industry for the inaugural TRMarketplace digital forum, TRBusiness and Bluedog Productions are delighted to announce another new and exclusive feature: the Consumer Insights hub, in partnership with Swiss research agency m1nd-set.
The hub will allow both exhibitors and visitors to meet with the industry’s leading research agency and discuss various aspects of the research presented during the TRMarketplace webinar programme announced recently and other research shared during the TRConnect webinars over recent weeks.
Travel Retail Marketplace (TRMarketplace) will connect buyers and suppliers from the comfort of their offices (or homes) during a week-long event to take place from Monday 28 September until Friday 2 October.
The Consumer Insights hub will be attended throughout the week-long digital forum by members of the Swiss research company’s travel retail insights team, headed up by Travel Retail Research Director, Clara Susset.
The m1nd-set team will be available to help exhibitors and visitors grasp a clearer understanding of how consumers are saying their behaviour and attitudes to both travel and shopping will change when international travel resumes.
All interested parties, click below for more information and/or to pre-register.
As announced, pre-registration is now open for retailers, airports, cruise lines, border stores and airlines, who will gain free-of-charge access to the TRMarketplace, which will take place on the dates of the original TFWA Cannes event, 28 September – 2 October.
M1nd-set, which has a database of over 600,000 international travellers, who have been recruited by m1nd-set staff at departure gates at over 60 airports around the world, is currently undertaking research across a wide range of themes, nationalities and travel retail channels.
The research will be presented over the course of the TRMarketplace event, as part of the comprehensive knowledge and insights webinar programme.
As reported, the category-specific insights, which will include 11 individual webinars followed by interactive workshops, will include exclusive contributions from leading retail training company, The Institute of International Retail (IIR). IIR will present actionable implementations and training guidelines based on the consumer insights to support industry players in each category.
CONSUMER INSIGHTS IN SERIOUS DEMAND
Both TRBusiness and m1nd-set are reporting an overwhelming increase in interest across all sectors of the industry in consumer insights. M1nd-set’s Clara Susset explained: “As we have seen from the intense interest in the TRConnect series of webinars we are partners in, there is naturally a huge surge in demand for relevant insights on what consumers are thinking when it comes to travel and how they will behave with regards to shopping.
“We are receiving a significant number of requests for shopper data on a weekly basis, which is why we have put together a series of complimentary reports to offer the industry in these difficult times. We look forward to sharing and exchanging with all exhibitors and visitors during TRMarketplace.”
“As m1nd-set points out, the need for consumer insights has never been greater, as many stakeholders look to rethink their strategies – some quite radically – in the wake of Covid-19,” said Helen Chater, TRBusiness’ recently appointed, Head of Business Development.
“Without the knowledge of rapidly evolving consumer preferences, needs and behaviour, companies will be at a serious disadvantage in their already steep uphill climb to recovery. M1nd-set’s series of complimentary reports – exclusively available to suppliers with a product hub, retailers, cruise companies, airlines and airports – could prove indispensable to your company’s post-crisis battle plan.”
TRBusiness is delighted to have received huge buyer and supplier support already. Read more about who plans to attend here.
M1nd-set is also official consumer insights partner for the TRBusiness TRConnect webinar series, the second edition of which will take place on Tuesday 2 June. For more information click here; to register, click here.
