TRT UK develops social learning tool for crew
By Charlotte Turner |
TRT UK Managing Director Christine Martin gives her review of the second TRTradeshow event, which was held at Gatwick’s Hilton hotel in September.
Martin tells TRBusiness how she thinks the show has improved and what she has planned for future events.
She also tells TRBusiness that the inflight retail industry’s greatest challenge is its inability to adapt to mounting threats such as eCommerce and the discount culture.
Unsurprisingly, ISPY founder, Martin, points to the importance of crew engagement to help enhance the level of customer service inflight, which is often below par.
She also speaks of a new ‘bespoke online social learning programme’ which TRT is currently developing that she thinks “is going to be ground-breaking and life-changing for the crew” and will ultimately raise the level of customer service on board.
