The Bluedog Group teams up with UKTRF to launch redesigned website

The UK Travel Retail Forum (UKTRF) has unveiled its new website, www.uktrf.com.

Built by HEX, the digital services and content specialist arm of The Bluedog Group, the refreshed website boasts a cleaner, easier-to-read and modernised design.

The advocacy section features up-to-date information on UKTRF’s key campaigns, including the cross-sector push for arrivals duty free shops in the UK and efforts to lobby government to reopen the discussion on tax free shopping.

Visitors can access and download up-to-date resources, such as independent research from York Aviation on arrivals duty free, plus briefings on the ‘One Too Many’ campaign.

UKTRF members also have access to an additional catalogue of campaign materials when logged into the site via a dedicated members area.

In addition, the UKTRF spotlights its ESG statement that has ten pledges agreed by the association’s members.

New gateway for advocacy

These cover mitigating against environmental impacts, waste reduction (food, plastic and water), social responsibility, and good governance and ethics.

The new website arrives as UKTRF increases its membership numbers in a post-Brexit, post-Covid landscape.

Sharing his delight at the new website launch, Nigel Keal, UKTRF’s Chairperson, said: “The new website will help us use every available avenue to deliver on our advocacy priorities, such as arrivals duty free, tax free, and disruptive passengers, by allowing UKTRF members better access to exclusive information, and helping the public better understand what it is we do.

With a cluster of high availability servers, the new UKTRF website is designed to guarantee fast and reliable access globally and across all devices. Existing frameworks have been modernised to enable a more responsive, interactive design. Source: uktrf.com.

“With a fresh look, we hope the site can serve as a one-stop-shop for anyone looking to learn more about the travel retail channel in the UK, and our Forum’s activities.”
