Now in its third year, the travel retail industry’s only event dedicated solely to the travelling consumer will take place over three days in the week commencing 19 June (exact dates to be confirmed via TRBusiness.com in due course).
“Vienna is an amazing location for the TR Consumer Forum,” commented Michael Barrett, Head of Events and CSR at TRBusiness.
“It is one of Europe’s most beautiful cities, offering delegates the opportunity to discover the many stunning monuments, surrounding countryside and vineyards, and many other cultural sites before or after the conference for those who wish to prolong their stay. Its central European location and excellent connectivity means it’s an easy direct flight for most.
“We are experiencing a very high level of interest in the event from the many industry stakeholders we are currently in discussions with, and their reaction to the location has been extremely positive.”
The TR Consumer Forum 2023 will take place over three days, beginning with a brand new, sustainability focused half-day educational session (details of which will be revealed soon), prior to the Opening Cocktail.

A highly acclaimed conference
The the latest edition of the TR Consumer Forum took place in Cyprus in September 2022 and attracted 180 DF&TR stakeholders for a vibrant educational programme and plenty of critical networking.
“Dynamic, panel-based discussions characterise the TR Consumer Forum and delegates can expect our signature style of conference content to be further elevated for the 2023 edition,” said Luke Barras-Hill, Managing Editor, TRBusiness.
“As we have seen from the previous two Forums, the lively, digestible format does an excellent job of bringing to life the insight-packed conference agenda and inspiring audience interaction.
“This year, our curated line-up of sessions will delve further into crucial recovery-phase topics on the DF&TR radar to help the industry gain a comprehensive understanding of consumer behaviours and how to maximise engagement in the channel.
“We are looking forward to welcoming delegates once again for what is set to be an even bolder and richly educational event that serves our company vision to help the industry grow.”
