Vinarchy to showcase combined portfolio at TFWA Cannes
By Naomi Chadderton |
Vinarchy will make its first full-scale appearance as a combined business at the TFWA World Exhibition & Conference in Cannes, showcasing its global wine portfolio and plans to drive category growth in travel retail.
Formed following the merger of Accolade Wines and Pernod Ricard Winemakers, Vinarchy will present brands including Hardys, Jacob’s Creek and Campo Viejo to travel retail partners at its Yellow Village D26 stand. “This year’s TFWA World Exhibition marks an important milestone for Vinarchy as it is the first opportunity for us to showcase our combined global portfolio to our travel retail partners,” said Jeff Bond, Channel Director, Global Travel Retail at Vinarchy. “With brands including Hardys, Jacob’s Creek and Campo Viejo, we have an exciting breadth of choice and a strong platform from which to build further growth in the channel.”
Central to the company’s presence in Cannes will be its consumer-first strategy, which focuses on identifying changing preferences, occasions and behaviours and using these insights to develop relevant brands, products and experiences.
“Our ambition is to redefine wine by putting consumers at the centre of everything we do,” Bond added. “We believe this consumer-first mindset, combined with the strength of our portfolio and our global reach, gives us a strong opportunity to unlock new growth for wine in travel retail.”
Among the developments being showcased, Australian wine brand Hardys will unveil a new global brand platform, while Campo Viejo will present its premium Reserva and Gran Reserva expressions. The Spanish brand will also showcase Campo Viejo Selección de Tempranillo, a global travel retail-exclusive produced from 100% Tempranillo grapes and matured for 17 months in oak barrels, predominantly French rather than American oak.
The Cannes appearance follows increased investment in global travel retail since Vinarchy was created. The company has been strengthening its distribution and activation across airports, airlines and cruise, alongside working with retail partners on consumer experiences.
“Since becoming Vinarchy, we’ve continued to strengthen our investment in global travel retail and deepen our collaboration with our retail partners,” Bond said. “Cannes gives us the opportunity to bring our combined portfolio to travel retail partners for the first time and have a focused conversation about how we can work together to bring more consumers into wine and grow the category.”
Vinarchy said further brand and packaging developments will be unveiled during TFWA World Exhibition & Conference.
