Virgin Atlantic lists Akvinta Vodka
By Administrator |
Virgin Atlantic Airways has listed Akvinta Vodka in its Upper Class cabin and the product's latest cocktail is shortly to be introduced in the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouses at Heathrow, Gatwick and New York JFK airports,
according to the company.
The company says that its Brand Ambassador Joel Constantino has developed 'the perfect sharpener' with his Mediterranean Bloody Mary, which has the addition of orange juice to marry the hints of citrus within the Vodka itself and this will tie in with the eventual introduction of this exclusive cocktail on board.
Akvinta Vodka started pouring onboard Virgin Atlantic flights from the beginning of July and the brand is also available to purchase on board.
The company has also created other exclusive cocktails which have been available in Virgin Atlantic's Heathrow Clubhouse, including the Stoic Virgin, the Red Hot Stoic, the Adam and Eve Of It and the Smooth Operator, which it claims takes the Smoothie to a new level.
Catharine Thomas, International Director, Travel and Luxury Retail said: ‘As a relatively young brand, we are thrilled to have made so much progress, so rapidly. While Akvinta is delicious, we believe that the company's innovative, straightforward, quick and proactive approach further reflects the brands innate natural good taste and flair. We look forward to a long and happy alliance with Virgin Atlantic.’
