New Swedish GM

The Nuance Group has appointed Thomas Friberg as General Manager Sweden with effect from June 1. Friberg joins Nuance from COOP/Bygg & Tr?dg?rd, Sweden?s biggest Do-it-yourself chain, where he was Business Area Manager.
Friberg started his career in Swedish retailing in 1983 with Gr?na Konsum and later moved on to COOP Forum, Sweden?s largest retail chain.
Amongst other positions held, he worked as the Sales Manager responsible for 115 shops, 1700 employees and SEK.3bn in sales.
Jean-Paul Bonnel, Ceo Europe for Nuance said: ‘I am pleased to have Thomas with his great experience in Swedish retail on board. His knowledge will benefit both our people and our operation in Sweden, where we are currently implementing an important refurbishment programme.’
