World-leading airports back TR Consumer Forum

Manchester Airports Group (MAG) and Vinci Airports have both confirmed their attendance for the inaugural Travel Retail Consumer Forum (TRCF), to be hosted by TRBusiness and leading Swiss consumer travel research firm m1nd-set on 20-22 September 2021 at the London Hilton Paddington hotel.

 

Leading global operators Lagardère Travel Retail, Aer Rianta International, 3Sixty Duty Free, WHSmith International, Inflight Sales Group Europe, R+F Travel Retail/Stena Line and Kaner Duty Free have already voiced their support for the event and (subject to travel restrictions) committed to sending representatives to the forum.

 

The Duty Free World Council (DFWC) has endorsed the event and believes that invaluable consumer data and research will be instrumental in the industry’s continued recovery. “The consumer lies at the heart of our industry’s recovery,” said Sarah Branquinho, DFWC President.

 

“We are seeing pent up demand to travel, whether to see family and friends, for leisure or for business – and it is clear that those already travelling are keen to spend again in duty and tax free stores. Any insight into how our industry can meet and exceed their expectations is a welcome element in the massive recovery effort that every company is committed to.”

Leading industry stakeholders have confirmed their support and attendance.

The European Travel Retail Confederation (ETRC) has also confirmed its intention to attend the event.

The early bird registration fee is £495, which will be valid until 31 July. After that date, the standard rate of £595 will apply.

 

In the unlikely event that the Travel Retail Consumer Forum is postponed, the registration fee will be automatically carried over to permit entry to the rescheduled event. Alternatively, a full refund is available.
