Oettinger Davidoff’s Jim Young adds CCO role to remit

Global travel retail functions will now report into Jim Young, who takes on the newly created CCO mantle.

Oettinger Davidoff has created a new ‘Chief Commercial Officer’ (CCO) position to ‘help drive sales excellence and share best practices across all markets’.

Jim Young, President, Davidoff North America will take on the additional responsibilities of the new role, reporting to Beat Hauenstein, CEO, Oettinger Davidoff.

Europe and global travel retail business units together with the tobacco’s firm’s Asia and North America regional divisions will collaborate and report to Young, who will relocate to Basel in the coming weeks.

“As CCO, Jim Young will have global responsibility for the commercial development and sales excellence across all markets,” commented Hauenstein.

“He will work closely with our market teams and regional business unit leaders to ensure the consistent execution of best practice commercial tools and approaches to support and advance our Indispensable Business Partner strategy and drive sales performance.”
