ATU delighted customers at its Istanbul Airport Luxury Square store with personalisation from artist Yasemin Karakaya.

ATU Duty Free, the subsidiary of TAV Airports and Unifree Duty Free/Gebr. Heinemann, hosted a series of “joyous” activities inside its multi-brand concept Luxury Square at Istanbul Airport.

During the event, which took place from 22-23 June, new products from global fashion brands were brought together on the departures floor of the airport.

The event featured artist Yasemin Karakaya, who was available to personalise sneakers and bags, alongside a DJ set.

With its luxury streetwear and sneakers area, the 1,263 sqm space is front and centre in the airport building, providing an ideal platform for the art and music activities.

Brands featured in Luxury Square include 04651 Trip in a Bag, Acne Studios, Alexander McQueen, Arigato, Atelier Swarovski, Autry, Balenciaga, Bee Goddess, Breitling, Burberry, Bvlgari, Cartier, Casablanca, Celine, Chloé, Chopard, Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Etro, Fendi, Girard-Perregaux, Givenchy, Gucci, Jimmy Choo, Kenzo, Lanvin, Loewe, Longines, Marc Jacobs, Messika, MM6, Mysabella, Off-White, On Running, Palm Ang, Pasquale Bruni, Piaget, Prada, Rado, Saint Laurent, SIBI, Stella Mc Cartney, TAG Heuer, Thom Browne, Tod’s Spa, Tom Ford, Versace, Vetements, Zegna.

DJ sets accompanied shoppers as they made their way through the airport.

ATU Duty Free operates duty free services across 110 stores spanning 25,000 sqm in 20 airports and one cruise port.

Its geographic footprint covers six countries: Turkey, Georgia, Macedonia, Tunisia, Latvia and Oman.

In March, ATU Duty Free announced it had extended the Luxury Square space by over 40%.
