Imperial Tobacco raised the profile of its Davidoff iD brand with a smoking lounge it opened at this year’s MEDFA (Middle East Duty Free Association) Conference.

For the last three years, Imperial Tobacco has been a platinum sponsor of this important event for the Middle East Duty Free Business.

The event was held on 26-27 November at the Jumeirah Creekside Hotel in Dubai and was attended by a record number of close to 500 international delegates of the Duty Free world.

The smoking lounge highlighted the new Davidoff iD touch range, which was recently launched in Duty Free outlets across the Middle East.

“For us, Davidoff iD is one of the most important global launches in history. Our presence here at MEDFA was therefore a great opportunity to bring Davidoff iD’s new and innovative concept alive and share it with our customers to further engage with them on this launch” said Andreas Lemke, General Manager Global Duty Free.

Delegates were also able to enter a prize draw to win a signed copy of the famous ‘Pens and Pencils’ artwork by Laurence Poole as well as a Dubai Duty Free gift voucher of US$2,500. The winner was announced on the main stage at the end of the conference.
