Travellers can discover the exclusive Velvet Collection, described as ‘an olfactory journey through the brand’s codes’.

Italian luxury fashion house Dolce & Gabbana (D&G) has partnered with Qatar Duty Free (QDF) to open a pop-up shop at Hamad International Airport in Doha.

The pop-up store, which is situated in front of the D&G boutique close to the Al Safwa First Lounge, runs until August.

It presents the brand’s most popular fragrances for him and her: Devotion, K&Q, Light Blue, The One and Dolce, plus a new makeup line.

An initial phase dedicated to the world of Devotion characterised by the D&G Sacred Heart leads visitors to the ‘luminosity and magnetic allure’ of The One collection, before graduating to a summer feel with a Blu Mediterraneo setup in tribute to the Light Blue fragrance.

Meanwhile, an ‘intimate area’ within the space allows travellers to explore the exclusive Velvet Collection.

They can also avail of a wrapping service to customise their purchases.

The brand’s latest store comes as it strengthens its presence in travel retail beauty by activating initiatives across Europe, the Middle East, the US, Latin America and Asia Pacific.

“Other projects will be launched in the major airports of the world, including Milan Malpensa, Paris Charles De Gaulle, London Heathrow, Istanbul New Airport Cobra, New York John F. Kennedy International Airport and Los Angeles Tom Bradley International,” added the brand.
